The MEF.DEV team is proud to unveil a new MEF.DEV platform release. The new version focuses on enhanced experience and improvements, designed to leverage engagement across the developer ecosystem and foster collaboration within the developer community.

Real-time Assistance and Collaboration
We added a chat feature to facilitate direct communication of developers with our technical support team. It also serves as a platform for developers to engage with one another, enabling collaborative problem-solving and knowledge sharing.

Enabling Micro Service Architecture Plugin Development
MEF.DEV now accommodates Micro Service Architecture development for backend plugins, providing developers with a habitual instead of serverless function-oriented approach to application development. This significantly lowers the entry threshold for new and novice users to seamlessly integrate microservices into their projects, promoting efficiency and adaptability.

Advanced Authorization Types for Enhanced Security
We've expanded our authorization options to include oAuth and APIKey for plugins, enhancing the security framework of MEF.DEV. This ensures robust authentication mechanisms to safeguard integrations and data safety.

Redefined BPMN Flow Designer
Our BPMN Flow Designer has undergone a significant improvement, allowing developers to customize their workspace for improved usability. The ability to dock modal windows and resize them as needed facilitates a more efficient dual-view experience between the BPMN Flow Designer and code.

Streamlined Backend Development with BPMN-to-Backend Conversion
A novel feature allows developers to convert BPMN Flow into backend plugins, aligning with Micro Service Architecture principles. This simplifies backend development and adheres to BPMN-based visual programming standards, expediting project timelines due to visual and live collaboration between developers, system and business analysts, and stakeholders.

General Enhancements for Describing RESTful APIs
Numerous refinements have been made, including major updates to support the machine and human-readable API documentation based on the Swagger set of rules and OpenAPI 3.1.0 standard. As usual for MEF.DEV technical specification approach, the generation of Swagger documentation is fully automated with the backend applications life cycle, including versioning, concurrency use, and rollback.
